State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle and ‘It’s a Penalty’ Unveil Human Trafficking Awareness Campaign for 2026 FIFA World Cup

Miami, Florida,- State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle will participate in a press conference held by It’s a Penalty, to unveil a series of coordinated awareness campaign materials and PSA, actions and community initiatives aimed at increasing awareness, visibility, and prevention of Human Trafficking during the 2026 FIFA World Cup events taking place in Miami-Dade County.

With Miami-Dade County serving as a major host community for the global tournament, this initiative will outline proactive measures designed to protect vulnerable populations, educate visitors and residents, and strengthen countywide efforts to identify and prevent Human Trafficking.
