Miami-Dade Voter Protection Task Force Ready to Ensure Safe, Secure Voting

Miami – August 18, 2026 – State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle wants to remind everyone that the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office Voter Protection Task Force remains prepared to assist Miami-Dade voters, ensuring that all voting sites remain free of impropriety, interference, or illegal activity.

State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle underscored the Office’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding the integrity of the election process:

“My office, together with our local law enforcement partners, are committed to ensuring that our elections remain trouble-free and that every voter can cast their ballot freely and without obstruction. When a voter calls our election hotline, State Attorney’s Office personnel will be available and dispatched to evaluate and address the situation promptly.”

To support this effort, investigators and civilian staff from the State Attorney’s Office will be present at designated voting locations throughout scheduled voting hours, aiding and monitoring for any irregularities.
Voters who suspect improper or irregular activity at early voting sites are urged to contact the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office Voter Protection Hotline at 305-547-3300.

The State Attorney’s Office remains steadfast in its mission to protect the integrity of our elections and uphold every citizen’s right to cast a secure and unimpeded vote.
