Legal Assistant II – Legal Headquarters/Child Support Division

Position Overview

 The Legal Assistant II provides support for the incoming legal referrals cases, processes the answers and all work related to cases needing to be removed from the calendar.  Part-Time and Full-Time Work schedules  are available between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. This position offers a Limited Flexible Work Schedule and Teleworking option.

 

The Job Responsibilities are:

  • Overseeing the answer/no answer process
  • Logging and virtually processing cases to be set on the court calendar
  • Updating cases on the calendar
  • Closing CAMS Tasks
  • Reviewing Cases on CORTS, CAMS, and Odyssey
  • Reviewing incoming mail
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

 

The Minimum Requirements are:

 

  • Two (2) years clerical experience
  • High school diploma or its equivalent

 

The Preferred Qualifications and Skills are:

 

  • Being fluent in English and Spanish

Starting Annual Salary:  $32,448.00
