Position Overview:

There is an immediate opening for an Assistant State Attorney position in our Felony Screening Unit.  

The Job Responsibilities are: 

In addition to regular contact with police witnesses and civilians, the person selected will interact with all levels of government and governmental agencies, including regulatory bodies and non-criminal, non-investigative agencies. Attention to detail, the ability to coordinate and mediate, and good people skills are all necessary for this position.

The Minimum Requirements are:

Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in criminal law and have a good knowledge of criminal law and procedure, good interviewing skills, and decision-making ability.  Membership in the Florida Bar is required. 

Starting Annual Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience.  The full package of State benefits accompanies this position (including health, life, and disability insurance, liberal annual and sick leave accrual, deferred compensation and retirement program).
