
The Victim Intake Center keeps and maintains information regarding victims for First- and Second-Degree felony cases screened by Felony Division prosecutors. Felony Division prosecutors pre-file most concerning Second-Degree Felony offenses and higher crimes. African Americans and Haitians were significantly overrepresented, accounting for 28% of victims in 2018 and 26% in 2019.
