State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle and Lt. Governor Jeanette Núñez come together to minimize human trafficking and strengthen protections for child victims.

Miami, Fla.- (January 19,2021) – Miami-Dade State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle recently welcomed Lieutenant Governor Jeanette Nunez to the E.R. Graham Building. Among other important matters, the State Attorney led a productive conversation about minimizing human trafficking, protecting child victims of human trafficking, and way to implement best practices across the state. 

“I am truly honored to have had our esteemed Lt. Governor of Florida, Jeanette Nunez, visit with me at our office to discuss the important subject that is Human Trafficking and our efforts to combat this crime across all Florida counties,” said State Attorney Fernandez Rundle. “I am deeply appreciative of Lt. Gov Nunez for her strong concern and important initiatives as we work together to eradicate this form of modern day slavery in our great State of Florida.”
