Data Entry Specialist II – Digital Evidence Management Unit

Position Overview

 The Data Entry Specialist II in the Digital Evidence Management Unit (DEMU) is a division of the SAO Information Systems Department. The Unit is responsible for supporting the management of digital evidence workflows. This includes processing photo and transcript requests, managing digital evidence uploads and migrations, and providing support for Evidence.com and related platforms. The work schedule for this position is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

The Job Responsibilities are:

         

  • Working within the Axon Justice Evidence Management System (Evidence.com)
  • Process photo and transcript requests through Axon Justice
  • Receive and process all digital evidence requests for the State Attorney’s Office
  • Upload and migrate digital evidence from physical media and vCase to Axon Justice
  • Manage and consolidate digital evidence, including merging duplicate cases and assigning court case numbers
  • Maintain law enforcement contact lists and manage LEO portals and trusted uploader lists
  • Perform redactions and provide troubleshooting support for Evidence.com
  • Serve as liaison between SAO and law enforcement agencies for digital evidence matters
  • Provide training and support for all SAO staff on Axon Justice usage
  • Creating and processing arrest warrants for ASAs and Law Enforcement
  • Performing other related duties as assigned

           

The Minimum Requirements are:

  • High School diploma or its equivalent
  • Two (2) years secretarial and/or general clerical experience

The Preferred Qualifications and Skills are:

  • Knowledge of the Axon Justice Evidence Management System (Evidence.com)

Starting Annual Salary: $36,665.76
