no police report...can you file charges? Although it is highly recommended that you file a police report when you are the victim of a crime, our office may still take a sworn statement from you if you have other sufficient evidence to provide us with. Without a police report, the chance of your case being filed are greatly reduced.

  Non-Felony Deposition Room Scheduling Procedure

To schedule a room for your non-felony deposition please call the offices below. In addition to mailing a Notice of Taking a Deposition, and having confirmed the date and time with the prosecutor ( pursuant to Rule 3.220(h)(1)).

It is the responsibility of the defense attorney to provide or contract with a court reporter to appear at any scheduled defense deposition. The State Attorney's Office will not provide court reporters for defense depositions.
