Data reflects disparities for various healthcare indicators, at least some of which are tied to differences in economic status.  For example, non-Hispanic Whites (87.0%) are more significantly more likely to have health insurance than Blacks or African Americans (71.0%) and Hispanics (75.7%).  Blacks (16.4%) and Hispanics (23.4%) are far more likely to avoid going to a dentist due to cost than Whites (10.1%).
